酬乐天扬州初逢席上见赠朝辞白帝彩云间，千里江陵一日还。两岸猿声啼不住，轻舟已过万重山。水随天去秋无际，长空一鹤排云双。鱼翻乌啄玉关缸，人倚楼头看碧波。韩娥别我何时见，强乘风破浪朝天。又送瑶台佳人去，回首绣帘隔香烟。
酬乐天扬州初逢席上见赠
朝辞白帝彩云间，

To Leisurely Heaven Upon Our First Meeting in Yangzhou, a Response
Bidding farewell in the land of White Emperor among the colorful clouds,
A thousand miles away in Jiangling, I returned within a day.
The cries of the monkeys on both banks never cease,
A light boat has already crossed countless mountains.
The water follows the sky, autumn knows no bounds,
In the vast sky, two cranes fly together.
Fish flip, crows peck the jade barrier of the lock,
People lean against the tower, gazing at the blue waves.
When will I see Han E again, after she left me?
With determination, riding the wind, breaking the waves towards the sky.
Once again, bidding farewell to the beautiful lady at the Jade Terrace,
Turning back, silk curtains separate us from the scent of smoke.
